A BIT ABOUT ME

how we (I) got our (my) start

my dad has always been interested in photography. did i say my dad? i meant me. ahem.

i was never interested in photography until one summer i started playing around with my dad's nikon. we were spending a couple days in yellowstone and we had woken up stupidly early to watch the sunrise. as upset as i sound about that, i would describe it as an ethereal experience. as my dad started fiddling with his camera, i asked him if i could take a couple pictures, and at that point i realized what photography was about. although i had never really used the camera before, i was able to capture the beauty of the scene in a photo that i'll get the keep with me forever. to me, thats how i see photography. of course it can be a very useful tool for professionalism, but i began to pursue photography because it captures the moments of life we don't want to forget.
